Erico Navazo. His minimal name contrasts with his fascinating projects. Based in Madrid, he started to collaborate with “Pascua Ortega Estudio” in 1995. Five years later, he was already leading his own project: “Erico Navazo Estudio”. Let’s meet the person, behind the name:

“Eri” – as close friends and family call him – was born in Burgos during the year of 1971 inheriting the name of his father. Also, from him, he received passion for furniture and design. Erico, the father, was a furniture manufacturer that always was able to go along with design trends and evolution.

Design is a real passion for him and we notice it looking at his projects. In June 2019, Erico told “Architectural Digest” that his work is driven by honesty, serenity and equilibrium. In the previous image, you will probably verify these words. This inhabited house was bought by him and suffered a makeover to be transformed into his shelter. Exploring his own house in Madrid, you don’t need any more projects to understand what design is all about for him.
