Unless you live somewhere perpetually warm, an electric fan is a seasonal affair. Hauled out from the closet or garage to do its summertime duty, once temperatures dip, large fans migrate back into storage until next summer.
Korean designer Jiyoun Kim recognized hauling a unwieldy fan back and forth posed not only a physical challenge, but one deserving of an aesthetic makeover.

The electric fan is often called ‘Seasonal Home Comfort’. Lots of aesthetic electric fans launched the market are manufactured only for using in the summer. Though those fans are useful in very hot conditions, rest of the time it just takes up to much space at your home. We often forget that functional and aesthetic fan with a cover keeps somewhere in more than half of a year.
Jiyoun Kim designed ‘Conbox’ from that the object would be still exsited if it is not used. Conbox is an aesthetic appliance to have a convnient functions which are basically wireless power, 99 wind power systems and controlling with smart phone apps.
It can be splited the joint to control the level and also can be kept peices of joint in the bottom part when it is not used anymore. Addtionally, it can be folded as conbox shape so the storage is easy in the winter to combine fan part with bottom part.
