The cozy home that you’ll want to live in!
We all want a inspiring cozy home: beautiful and comfortable at the same time. It can be a challenge, but we all can do it, the artist Erin Barret teach us how. Let’s go for a tour and get inspired by this amazing project.
One of the first inspiring things about this house was his 70’s vibe, said Erin Barret. And then everything had started from this point.
Let’s start this house tour in the common space, the living room. Well, nothing in here happened without a purpose. Besides this 70’s underground already in mind there was another goal. With new family members coming, the concern was not only about the great decor but also about creating a space that will be a response for this family needs. One of that inspiring homes to everybody.
But how was going to be possible mixing all of this styles? One part mid-century modern, one part bohemian and yet another one minimalist. Well, it happened. That is one of the good things about interior design: you can actually design a space with all the influences that you might like.
The living room was created with soft but positive colors and also with the power of the nature to underlining this positive energy. Let’s move now to the dining room!
One of the great advice of this renovation in one of the most beautiful homes in south carolina is: this renovation process is not about replacing only the things that need to be changed. Fill all the spaces with elements that you love. If you need to start from the beginning, let’s do it!
“Lots of textiles, a little color, and tons of plants really does the trick”. And it was this the trick for the bedroom and actually for the entire home.
We are ending this tour in a relaxing place for a good time. Once more with the nature inside of the house, this corner would be perfect a good read and to recover energies.
This south carolina home had shown us a mix of styles that worked perfectly together because there was a personal touch in every little detail. Creating open spaces with tons of natural light guided this project from the very beginning and one more piece of advise: “if you go with your gut — not just what you see as trendy — you will end up with a space that reflects who you are, and a home that you will always love spending time in”.
