Sustainable design with a story was made possible by this Hong Kong-based design studio.
Co-founded by Communications major by Emily Ho and designer Wilson Lee, STUDIO ADJECTIVE has been creating sustainable solutions with a story since 2016. This dynamic duo came together three years ago to start a project that delivered more than just pretty spaces, but spaces with a story that focus on giving back to the community, the city, and the planet by being self-sustainable.

STUDIO ADJECTIVE comes alive in Hong Kong as a creative multi-disciplinary and award-winning design agency. Co-founded by Emily Ho and Wilson Lee, STUDIO ADJECTIVE aims to enhance self-sustainability with strategies that focus on bettering the connection of their projects with the human side of design, as well as the community and the city they’re building in. They focus and develop storytelling architectural and interior concepts like no design studio has ever dared to before.

Putting marketing and the way they communicate STUDIO ADJECTIVE to their audience at the forefront of what they do, the Hong Kong-based design agency believes “every brand should deliver its own unique story to people.” This belief translates into their designs, because just as co-founder Emily Ho states, “a cafe, a retail shop or an apartment has to be a place that people would love to stay in.”
As we prepared to write this post of STUDIO ADJECTIVE and scrolled through their portfolio we were confronted with the reality that their projects do in fact mirror their beliefs. Not only does every project feel contemporary relevant, but they do seem to tell a story, with STUDIO ADJECTIVE’s irreprehensible aesthetics serving as the main adjective of that same story.
