With three full days of ICFF New York yet to come, let’s take a look at what happened yesterday, and guess what’s to come.
We have been preparing for ICFF 2018 for quite some time. The doors finally opened yesterday at 10am EST and one day has already gone by! Before we go on to guess what is yet to come until the 23rd at ICFF New York, let’s take a look at what happened yesterday and the part Essential Home played in it.

Booth #1719
First things first, let’s start with the most exciting booth at ICFF 2018. For another great edition of the furniture expo, Covet Group was located on booth #1719, representing brands such as BRABBU, Boca do Lobo, DelightFULL and Essential Home.

If you had the opportunity to pass by Covet Group’s booth you could see how many of the designs by the different brands were paired together. Why? This is a great way to put on display how the brands complement each other in their own way. Below you can see how Boca do Lobo’s Boulevard desk looks great with Essential Home’s bestseller Collins dining chair in red velvet.
Essential Home also brought along Diamond small mirror. Honoring the geometric lines of the mid-century style, the brass frame is also a nod to the timeless period that marked a generation.
ICFF Talks
As for other exciting moments of the very first day of ICFF New York, let’s talk about ICFF Talks for a little while. Yesterday saw amazing themes such as sustainability and art being discussed, as well as the topic of lighting design and the importance and impact it can have on interior design.
These bespoke BRABBU bar chairs deserved a little bit of a spotlight, being on display during one of the ICFF Talks that occurred during yesterday’s schedule.
What to expect for the following days?
ICFF will still be happening until the 23rd at 4pm EST, so if you haven’t yet had the opportunity to stop by, know that you can still make it! The last day, the 23rd, will also have its doors open for the general public, so if you’re an industry professional looking to get the best deals and enjoy the furniture exhibition with a little more ease, it might be a good idea to attend today or tomorrow as to stay clear of the crowds.
