Well, summer isn’t officially here, but the heat is! You know what that means… Summer Music Festivals are starting to get some attention! We will provide you with a list of the best ones to consider!

Lets face it. Festivals mean a lot more than just concerts. Although the line-up is very important (and our main factor) you also have to consider the travel, the camping and the partying that is always going on. These 6 festivals, are the best in the world for all that.
Without further ado…
Rock in Rio, Lisbon (23-30 June)
Ok, as far as the days go, this one is a bit weird.
The line-up this year is nothing but spectacular and, for the first day you’ll get to see performances by the Muse, Bastille, Haim and the Portuguese star, Diogo Piçarra.
For the 24th you’ll see performances by Bruno Mars and Demi Lovato. Impressive right?
This is where it gets weird, after those two day, you get a break. I don’t know if the propose is for the Portuguese people to not miss work but, the show returns for the 29th, where you’ll get to see bands like The Killers, The Chemical Brothers and James, and it closes on the 30th with the head-liner Katy Perry and then Jessie J and the Brazilian mega-star Ivete Sangalo.
Tomorrowland, Boom (20-29 July)
One of the most famous music festivals in the world.
In Boom, Belgium, every year, 200.000 people from all around the world gather for the biggest electronic music event of the year.
With thousands of artists participating in the show, it is only natural that this is one of the biggest music events in the world.
Roskilde Festival, Roskilde (30th June – 7th July)
The biggest festival in Denmark and one of the biggest in the Northern Countries, Roskilde gathers music super-stars to perform for people from allover the world.
This year, Eminem and Bruno Mars are just some of the performers confirmed.
Lollapalooza, Illinois (2-6th August)
It is 4 days of festival with hundreds of performers.
This year, performers like The Weekend and Jack White are confirmed head-liners.

They usually feature popular alternative rock, heavy metal, punk rock, hip hop, and electronic music bands and artists, dance and comedy performances, assuring you the best festival experience possible.
Firefly Music Festival, Delaware (14-17 June)
According to themselves, Firefly “is a premier music experience set among lush wooded landscapes, featuring renowned headliners and emerging artists”, and that could not be any truer.
As if the head-liner weren’t enough, just notice that there will also be performances form Lil Wayne, Portugal The Man and Foster the People.
Bottlerock Napa Valley, Napa Valley (25-27 May)
Crowned as the first taste of summer, this year, performances at Bottlerock will include ones from artists like The Chainsmokers, Snoop Dogg and Earth, Wind and Fire. With a relative short history, beginning in 2013, in 5 years this festival has managed to be one of the biggest in the world, attracting people from hundreds of countries and the best current performers.
