The Island Of The Dolls in Mexico is an unhabited island with a sad and creepy story. It tells the tale of a girl that drowned in the canal and all the dolls that kept washing ashore after the incident. The only inhabitant of the island, 50 year old Julian, hung the dolls from the trees to please the spirit of the little girl. However, he was later found drowned in the same spot as the girl. The island is now a tourist attraction and many continue to bring dolls to hang and appease the spirits that live there. There are still reports of dolls moving or whispering to each other… the perfect spot for a spooky Halloween night.

Eventually, she was murdered in her sleep by one of her slave lovers, who was also a voodoo practicioner and performed a ritual to keep her in her grave, fearing her return. Rumors say her spirit remains in the house.
