From all this inspiration, tips and tricks bunny kept the most important thing her personality! Her contrarian instincts are immediately apparent upon walking through the front door of the 1,400-square-foot, one-bedroom apartment overlooking Manhattan’s High Line. With a pile of bold prints on even bolder patterns, she felt like a master of that mix, spreading her love for pattern, colors and a bit of bling together.
From a visit to a wallpaper atelier, she was inspired to use black-and-white foyer with a dramatic explosion of a pattern and color. taking this risks, she was able to create a playful and happy place.
To do this type of decor Bunny invested time, planning, she admits to a dogged pursuit of the perfect version of any specific item she is looking for — be it a fabric, a wallpaper, or a new dress. “I’m one of those people who has to see every single white blouse before I buy one,” she says.
Juarez’s is a maximalist and plays with that decor in every room, from art to objects that she collected. Especially Portraiture, oversize mock-historical, and framed in gold. Rugs, pillows, textiles, are also important items to this decor, and this always brought her to her friends like the black petunia pendant in the foyer, where Weinrib’s graphics zigzag rug covers the floor that her friend Nisbet designed to her.
For all of her audacious decor, Juarez is an inspiration to all that love and respect mid-century modern decor with a twist of color and fun. Juarez decor feels like one of her fabulous outfits, It’s unique and stylish in a way that’s all her own.
