Actress Marilyn Monroe overcame a difficult childhood to become one of the world’s biggest and most enduring sex symbols. She died of a drug overdose in 1962. Our designers put together an elegant and retro chic piece of furniture inspired in the 60’s legacy, inspired by the seductive movements of the iconic movie star.

Grace Kelly

Kelly expressed a deep love of performance at a young age, became a popular actress in the 1950s starring in movies such as Dial M for Murder (1954).

Sophia Loren

The women of Essential Home

Italian actress Sophia Loren was born in Rome on September 20, 1934. Raised in poverty, she began her film career in 1951 and came to be regarded as one of the worlds most beautiful women. Our designers inspired by this beautiful actress, created pieces that are pure candy rush in pastel velvet with details of gold plated brass.

Doris Days

Doris Day was a singer and actress most popular in the 1950s and early-1960s. Our designers inspired by  their elegance created a piece with a lustrous and solid frame and the velvet rouche detailed work.

Brigitte Bardot

Brigitte Bardot is a French dancer, model and actress who became an international icon in the 1950s and ’60s with films like And God Created Women and Contempt. The elegant and soulful Bardot Sofa was named after the great movie icon from the 60’s and boasts sleek lines and modern contours that would make anyone beg for more.
