Today, we bring you a special one, one of the biggest shopping malls in the Middle East: The Avenues Mall in Kuwait.

The Avenues Mall isn’t just your typical shopping mall in your local city. This is an architecture and design project like never before, now considered one of the largest shopping malls in the Middle East. Its grandiosity showcases the luxury of this mall and a peek of what you’ll be able to find inside.
It was the winner of the ICSC Gold Award for “Best Shopping Center 2013” under the Expansion and Design Category in the Middle East & North Africa. It features more than 800 stores and parking space that fits more than 10,000 cars, and its exteriors are surrounded by beautiful fountains.
The shopping mall includes different areas, each with a different theme, called the districts, of which include The Arcades, The Grand Plaza, The Forum, The Gardens, Electra and The Cinema. And- we can’t forget- a five-star hotel and another four-star hotel, which covers an area of 117,000 sq.m.
The Avenues was primarily created under the influence of the climate and region Kuwait is located in. Basing the architecture on the natural forms of the desert sand dune, rock formation and the sky, the neutral colors of the interior, and the open window ceilings brings The Avenues Concept together. Of course, each district also has its own influence.
This stunning wonder of architecture and design can be visited by anyone who is in Kuwait (and we strongly recommend you to visit!) and all design lovers who pick this destination for their next vacation.
