1. Their architectural legacy
We have talked about our favorite interior designers and architects all the way from India. And one of the reasons Essential Home is so excited about going to India is to be able to witness in first hand their incredible architecture. From timeless buildings such as Taj Mahal to new buildings in bustling cities like Mumbai, Essential Home is ready to soak it all in.

2. The design uprising of the last few years
For the last decade, India’s biggest city centers have been gaining more and more ground in the interior design scene. Delhi is cut out to be the next big design center of the world and even other cities such as Mumbai and Bangalore have been gathering great interior designers that work from there to all four corners of the world.

3. We want to learn from their designers
Essential Home works with product, interior, web, and graphic designers all the time. But, as a team, we are always looking forward to get to know other perspectives and other ways of looking at interior design. India, being on the rise in the interior design industry, and having such a rich cultural background, has surely a lot to teach us. We want to get to know the top designers in India and learn from them!

Going to India is an opportunity to see and feel the richness of their fabrics, and fall in love with hundreds of colors and shades we have never even seen before!
6. We want to breathe in their breathtaking landscapes
And while we’re at it, we want to bring back to Portugal the feeling of having witnessed it all.
