Paris is a huge and inspiring city, with several hundred of great interior design stores, which are actually too many to cover in a small period of time, especially if you aren’t planning on visiting in the city before Maison & Objet starts. But because we want you to enjoy your time in the city to the fullest, we advise you to get to Paris a couple of days earlier and enjoy what the vibrant city has to offer. Today we are showing you some of our favorite interior design stores in Paris, the ones you should really take the time to stop by.

Covet Paris
Featuring brands such as Boca do Lobo, Koket, DelightFULL and – of course – Essential Home, Covet Paris comes to give a new meaning to Paris home decor. It is located right in front of the Marché aux Puces des Antiquités de Saint-Ouen, which means this will be your next mandatory stop once you’re in the city for a stroll.
Merci
Merci is a 16,000-square-foot concept store that belongs to the owners of the French children’s clothing brand Bonpoint. It is located in a reinvigorated 18th-century building on Boulevard Beaumarchais, and once you step inside you will find “gifts for the design-inclined, from fashions by Isabel Marant and Yves Saint Laurent to metal bistro chairs by domestic furniture company Tolix.”
Roche Bobois
Roche Bobois is a French retailer of high-end furniture and works with many designers and architects from around the world to create its collections. You can schedule a small tour through the best design showrooms in Paris and stop by!
Années Lumière
Les Années Lumière is a huge store of lights on Boulevard Raspail which dedicates a permanent personal space to the English design of “the room from Tom Dixon”, which works mainly in this collection. Find floor and suspension lamps that are the success of this artist.
Astier de Villatte
It is impossible not to stop in Astier de Villatte when you pass on Rue Saint Honoré. Artisanal pottery, made of black terracotta clay, and scented candles are world famous.
Veronese
The designer Veronese is renowned for its fancy colored glass chandeliers that are manufactured using traditional techniques in Murano, Italy. Here you can find a beautiful and elegant collection of lighting fixtures.
Sentou
In Sentou, the owner Pierre Romanet always has new discoveries and orders: furniture, lighting, textiles, and tableware by established names and emerging designers. It is an ideal store not only to find the unexpected gift, for example, convex mirrors of different shapes and colors, but also icons such as Isamu Noguchi lanterns, Jean Prouvé chairs and Alvar Aalto vases. It’s a modern shop that will surprise you with colors and curves. Very Moco Loco.
La Trésorerie
La Trésorerie is a concept store that brings together household objects that are as beautiful as they are useful, celebrating the best of French interior design. A must see for all the interior designers that will be attending Maison et Objet 2018, this concept store is situated in a repurposed administrative block and many of the original architectural features have been retained: the bars on the windows, the national insignia, and the wooden double door.
