We are presenting the Marco Dining Chair and the fitting Marco Armchair. Inspired in Marco Zanuso, an Italian architect and contemporary designer, who designed in the year 1949 the famous Chair models of ‘Antropus’ and ‘Lady’. The Chairs of Essential Home have a minor similarity to the organic shapes of the famous ‘Lady’. Marco was one of a group of Italian designers from Milan shaping the international idea of “good design” in the postwar years, so of course, Essential Home takes orientation in this brilliant past- and designs an uncommon round shape with curvy and comfortable arms. With a very natural and sleek look, as comfortable as it can get, this accent chair strays true to its origins.
The Dean Armchair can be seen as a tribute to James Dean. The mid-century armchair radiates certain wickedness with its dark colors and materials. It’s one of the most classic pieces of the collection, this armchair impresses with its mid-century inspired look and incredible design. Stagnant youth and at the same time classic, one mixture only this background is able to carry.
The one and only Marilyn Monroe. Of course, her incredible life inspired the designers of Essential Home to a unique piece.
