Located in Catskills, 100 miles north of New York City, this incredible project with Mid-Century details was developed by the architect Drew Lang – and it’s named ‘hudson woods’.
Integrated within the natural landscape, this residential area comes with two basic layout options. They can be customized with pre-selected materials and upgrades, for example architectural additions or locally designed furniture pieces.
It is also important to mention that this was designed to emphasize sustainability with locally sourced materials, passive solar design and a high‐efficiency hydronic heating system. This was all strategically planned to ensure that a smaller overall footprint was left.
As you can see, the Hudson Woods project has a reference to Scandinavian and Mid-Century Design Aesthetics. Also, one thing that surely stands out, it’s the white oak used on the interior walls.
Those residences’ prices start at €765,000 USD, but each lot is ranging from 2.7 to over 10 acres. Besides that, every buyer receives a turn-key home, without going through the lengthy process of designing and building a custom dwelling from the ground-up.
About the bedroom, this large window it’s the first thing that comes to our eyes – and it’s a great way to enjoy the amazing view this house has.
Still about the view, you can also enjoy it on the outside. In fact, this balcony it’s a great place to do it and to relax, in the peace of nature.
On winter, it’ll really feel like winter, with snow everywere. But which better place to spend Christmas?
